University physics (I-1 and I-2) is a compulsory course for non-physics specialized students in science and engineer university. There are two objects of this course: teaching students the comprehensive physics knowledge to help them build necessary bases for their professional courses, and helping them build scientific methods of thinking and researching, and strong problem-solving skills.
The basic contents in this course include: mechanics (including special relativity), wave, thermo logy, electromagnetism, optics and fundamental quantum physics. All these contents satisfy the kernel fundamental requirements declared by the physics pedagogic directing committee of the Ministry of Education.
