ARCH41420 Specialist Archaeology Topic

Academic Year 2023/2024

This module is designed for PhD students in Archaeology taking modules for training purposes. In brief, ARCH41420 offers a 10cr framework for an undergraduate module on a relevant topic which only has a 5cr weighting. This means that a PhD student can engage with a topic in substantially more depth than is possible in a 5cr offering. PhD students undertaking this module must take all classroom activities involved in the undergraduate module, potentially including tests/presentations if appropriate. They are solely assessed on the basis of an extended essay.
