• Demonstrate clear understanding of the role of the management plan in conserving World Heritage properties with applicability to other sites;
• Apply management plan methodology to cultural and natural sites;
• Establish a management plan framework;
• Identify stages of activities and stakeholder involvement in the management plan process;
• Critically assess external factors affecting management of World Heritage properties.
