ARCH30700 Research Project Preparation

Academic Year 2022/2023

This module gives you the space to develop a research proposal, that will be the basis for the Research Project module in the following trimester. Through the module you will be developing your topic, the key questions that you will be addressing, the methods that you think you will need to employ and the resources that it might require. The final submission for this module will be the completion of a project proposal form (which is based on the types of questions grant awarding bodies would ask you if you were looking for funding).

The proposal phase allows a point of critical reflection before you embark on your project and allows for an assessment of whether or not it can proceed or whether it needs to be adapted.
