Students will:
Become familiar with the gross and functional anatomy of the equine athlete.
Be able to describe the cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal and metabolic responses to exercise and adaptations to training.
Be able to explain the effects of intense exercise and training on thermoregulation.
