Learning Outcomes:
The student will learn to study original research literature independently and to pursue his/her own research under the guidance of a supervisor from the School of Mathematics and Statistics.
On successful completion of this project the student will have:
(a) Gained an in-depth understanding of a significant topic in Applied and Computational Mathematics research.
(b) Written a dissertation on the topic, including a review of the theoretical background.
(c) Given an oral presentation communicating the key aspects and results of their project.
