The undergraduate course in Social Justice offers students

the opportunity to acquire a deeper understanding of the

underlying causes of injustice while being supported to

become critically reflective global citizens and effective

agents of social change. Over the course of the four year

programme in Social Justice students will advance their

knowledge about the key social issues of the 21st century,

while developing their understanding of social scientific

methods, gaining advanced skills in relation to research, critical thinking

and analysis, problem-solving and communication.

The joint major in Social Justice provides a unique

educational pathway for those who are interested in working

within national and international civil society organisations,

as well as for statutory and international bodies with a social

justice remit in fields such as public policy; international

development; human rights; community development; social

research; advocacy/campaigning.
