CivStr&Env EngineeringStream - Engineering Science (4-stage) (NVS4)

Engineering Science Stage 4 Civil, Structural, Environmental Engineering Stream is a 60 Credit undergraduate year of study. Following successful completion of Stage 4, students will progress into Year 2 of their Master of Engineering (ME) Programme, and modules from Stage 4 will be mapped forward in place of Year 1 of the ME. Students must consult with and obtain prior approval of the Programme Coordinator before registering to their modules. Note re CVEN40730 Professional Work Experience:- Students must register to CVEN40730 as their CORE PWE Module for Semester 2. During Semester 1 , students will be expected to submit their CV to prospective employers. Professional Work Experience opportunities will be offered by employers and places will be allocated on the basis of competitive interviews. In the event that a student is unsuccessful in securing a Professional Work Experience, the student will be required to register for CVEN40500 Design Project and four 5-credit option modules for Semester 2. (Noted as "Alternative to PWE" in Panel C below )
