Stage 4

Engineering Science Stage 4 Optical Engineering stream is a 60 credit undergraduate year of study with 30 credits per Trimester comprising CORE and/or OPTION modules including a Professional Work Experience module. Following successful completion of Stage 4 students will progress into Year 2 (Stage 2) of the ME (Optical Engineering) programme and modules from Stage 4 will be mapped forward in place of Year 1 (Stage 1) of the ME. Students must consult with and obtain prior approval of the Programme Director before registering to their modules.
