As the agri-food sector becomes more knowledge intensive, education and skills development are even more critical for career success. This programme incorporates Chinese language and cultural components into the business skills and fundamental science required for managerial and professional careers in the agri-food sectors.
These elements, combined with an emphasis on learning to think analytically, result in a programme that equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for professional decision-making in agri-food business sectors in the global market, with particular reference to China.
60 credits of core modules.
Students muct take 20 credits of core modules. In addition, students must take two option modules amounting to 10 credits.
Autumn trimester: In addition to the 25 credits of core modules, students must take one elective module amounting to 5 credits.
Spring trimester: Students can either take a period of Professional Work Experience (PWE) for 30 credits (28 weeks), or take an equivalent of 30 credits of option modules.
In addition to 40 credits of core modules, students must take option modules amounting to 20 credits.
