Stage 2

Students are strongly advised to balance their workload evenly across both trimesters by choosing 25 credits per trimester.

Stage 3

Students will have the opportunity to take up any combination of: trimester exchange, internship, Gaeltacht placement or take UCD modules in stage 3. Students who remain in UCD for the full academic year must take 50 credits from the course curriculum plus 10 credits of electives.

Stage 4

Students will take 40 credits of core modules (including Tráchtas / Tionscnamh taighde and Research Skills modules). Students should also choose 10 credits from the option modules. All students are strongly encouraged to balance their workload evenly across both trimesters i.e. 30 credits per trimester.
