Stage 3

Students must have a total of 55 credits in option modules chosen from the following list.

ECON30620 is not available for BDIC students who visit UCD in stage 3.

Stage 4

Students must have a total of 60 credits in option modules chosen from the following list. Students can either select EIGHT option modules and ECON30620 Economics Research Project, or select TWELVE option modules that do not include ECON30620.

Students who select ECON30620 Economics Research are strongly encouraged to take Advanced Econometrics: Time Series (ECON30540) in the Fall, and Advanced Econometrics: Microeconometrics (ECON30530) in the Spring while in Dublin.

**Note: Students who wish to complete the research project must be in Dublin for the full academic year. ECON30620 is available to stage 4 students only if they passed Applied Econometrics (ECON3002J) in Stage 3.

Incoming Stage 1 undergraduates can usually select an Elective in the Spring Trimester. Most continuing undergraduate students can select up to two Elective modules (10 Credits) per stage. There is also the possibility to take up to 10 extra Elective credits.
