Applicants with significant relevant work experience and involvement in sports coaching, as well as holding a coaching qualification awarded by a national governing body, can apply for this programme and will be considered on a case by case basis. They can take up to 3 modules as continued professional development (CPD) and will be awarded a certificate.

Incoming Stage 1 undergraduates can usually select an Elective in the Spring Trimester. Most continuing undergraduate students can select up to two Elective modules (10 Credits) per stage. There is also the possibility to take up to 10 extra Elective credits.
