This module is the concluding module of the programme, and focuses on students drawing together their learning from throughout the programme, and applying it in their final capstone project.

This capstone project is a Structured Case Report which comprises a case report, with a supporting critically appraised and concept map. This project should showcase a problem-oriented clinical approach to a complex medical case, underpinned by the principles of evidence-based practice; the two core themes running throughout the programme.

The development of critical thinking skills and an ability to evaluate the current literature are key component of this programme, and students should present evidence of these in their project work. The purpose of this module is to afford students the time and support to successfully complete this project work, and it relies heavily on peer-peer collaboration and the provision of peer feedback.

This is a pass / fail module comprising several components including both within trimester assessment and end of trimester assessment.
