After successfully completing this module students will be able to:
- demonstrate significant development in their linguistic competence (written and oral production) in the target language
- reflect on the utility of the language and transferable skills that they have acquired while living abroad
- critically analyse the university context/system in which they have been studying
- compare and contrast cultural events of the host country with those of Ireland
There is no specific content delivered for this module. Students develop their understanding of the language and the culture by reflecting about their own experiences and through reading prescribed academic articles.
