This module will examine the role of team and groups in organisational change and transformation. Participants will explore the difference between teams and groups and which is fit for purpose. The module will identify the key characteristics of high performing teams as well as common group dynamics that impact performance.
A central component of this module will involve participants completing a team diagnosis and intervention, in an assignment group, with a team in an organisation and in doing so will experience a systemic team development process and the challenges of being a change agent and working with teams within a transformation process. Particular emphasis will be placed on how to intervene into a team to improve its level of effectiveness.
