Learning Outcomes:
On completion of this module students will have the ability to: (1) work effectively with systems relevant to clients, including, for example, statutory and voluntary services, self-help and advocacy groups, user-led systems and other elements of the wider community (2) elaborate and critically evaluate a range of theoretical frameworks in relation to practice (3) recognize the limits of personal expertise, skills theory and approaches and refer clients appropriately (4) present in writing their clinical practice in ways that allow their professional activities to be understood and assessed by others (5) familiarity with a wide range of presenting issues in the clinical situation and the current thinking, practice and literature available in relation to these areas (6) describe and evaluate critically their clinical decision making process (7) produce written and other records of clinical work in accordance with organizational and professional policies and procedures (8) respond to and remain participative in a supervisor-learner and team relationship.
