Curricular information is subject to change.

The supervision of ongoing clinical practice takes place in two modes:
small group supervision (maximum four trainees per group in line with professional body standards)
one-to-one individual supervision
The objective of these two modes of supervision is to provide students with regular direction for their practice to follow specifically psychoanalytic principles. Students engage in speaking about their practice, questioning the basis of their formulations and interventions as well as encountering the limits of the knowledge of the practitioner. Students are , directed and supported to maintain at least two people in their psychoanalytic psychotherapy and reach the required amount of practice as per professional body requirements.
The evolving complexity of ethical and theoretical questions around the direction of the treatment as these relate to interpretation, transference etc are privileged, with key Freudian and Lacanian texts acting as the theoretical prism through which clinical situations are viewed.
