Curricular information is subject to change.

The student addresses the question: what it is to practice psychoanalytically? In other words, the task is to specify the particularity of psychoanalytic practice. The strategy for this is:
Identify a question arising from your practice
Select a text or two from the psychoanalytic literature which you believe will assist you in responding to the question
Provide a close reading of the text
Indicate how it has a relevance for your clinical practice
A reader of your Clinical Paper must be very clear that it has been written by a psychoanalytic practitioner with a clinical question about their practice. It is in the hands of the writer of the paper how to represent this crucial aspect.
The Clinical Paper is 5,000 words in length.
