This module explores the role of (mis-) information in European and European Union politics. We will examine how information is generated, processed, and acted upon by individuals, organisations, and institutions in the political sphere. We will assess how the availability of information about political choices can affect the way in which choices are framed, and how this information affects policy outcomes. Upon completion of the module, students will have gained a more complete and nuanced understanding of how information and its availability affects our daily lives.
