• On completion of the module students should be able to understand the urban development process and its relationship to planning and development policies.
• In addition students are expected to develop an understanding of the key issues driving the urban property development process.
• On completion of the course students should appreciate the varying perspectives of those involved in the planning and development process.
• In addition the module gives students an appreciation of the development appraisal decision-making process as applied in both the public and private sectors.
