This module is a core module for those students taking the upgrade to MSc in Occupational Health (Major code X060) who have not previously undertaken the UCD Higher Diploma or Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health. It takes place in Autumn.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

On successful completion of the module students should be able to:1. Demonstrate the ability to collate specialist occupational medical information and present in a scientific manner, both in oral and written manner.2. Demonstrate an understanding of study design as relates to studies of occupational medicine3. Demonstrate an understanding of commonly used analysis in studies of occupational medicine4. Search literature using standard search strategy mechanisms5. Review and analyse current literature in a self-directed manner6. Use Endnote or another reference managing tool
