Learning Outcomes:
On completion of this module students should:
• Understand current practice in Toxicology and Regulatory Affairs and be aware of career opportunities and how to identify them.
• Understand the career planning process and how to plan their career more effectively.
• Know how to search effectively for information for assignments, projects and career opportunities.
• Be able to write a cv and cover letter and know how to customise cvs to specific job applications.
• Be familiar with the skills required by employers, have evaluated the skills they have already developed that are important for career success and practiced and developed their skills e.g. communication skills, project management skills, team working.
• Be capable of completing an application form having analysed typical employer questions and developed a structured approach to answering such questions.
• Have developed effective communications skills and be able to communicate with a variety of audiences.
• Know how to perform effectively at interviews.
• Understand the importance of and have developed skills in Relationship Management.
