2. Apply the basics of exercise physiology to different exercising populations, modes of exercise, and exercise environments.
3. Measure and interpret a range of physiological parameters relating to exercise, sport, and health.
4. Engage appropriately with relevant research across the areas outlined above.
Indicative Module Content:
A systems approach to the responses of the metabolic, cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, hormonal, thermoregulatory and muscular systems to exercise. Practical applications of measuring and interpreting a range of physiological parameters relating to exercise, sport, and health.
