This module is designed to provide healthcare professionals who have acquired comprehensive physical assessment and health history taking skills, to advance their knowledge to an advanced level. The module will enable the practitioner to advance the knowledge gained to the level of establishing accurate differential diagnoses, including the integration of pathophysiological findings.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this module students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate the comprehensive knowledge and skills required to undertake a comprehensive health history and self critique.
2. Demonstrate advanced clinical-decision making skills in the application of health history and
physical examination skills in the clinical setting.
3. Critically analyse evidence-based practice in a variety of clinical contexts using case studies, indicating
pathophysiological findings.
