This module is for graduate research students in the School of Medicine. PhD students should be in their second year of their studies. The module is designed to further enhance students communications and critical analysis skills. Topics covered will include how to approach the writing of a PhD research thesis and how to organise, and chair a scientific session at a meeting. Students will provide feedback to peers on their presentation skills. They will reflect on their learning throughout the module and on their development as a translational scientist.
