This module is for graduate research students in the School of Medicine who have completed one year of registration. Topics covered include communication skills both oral and written with emphasis on communicating with expert and non expert peers and writing of scientific papers. Students will enhance their critical analysis and thinking skills through participation at journal clubs and at research seminars and will start to reflect on their own scientific identity and how this evolves with experience.
