At the end of the module, students should:
- Be familiar with the use of a number of software applications in the field of digital drawing, graphic design and visualisation.
- Understand the concepts of visual design communication and storytelling. They must demonstrate the ability to consider the - consumer of their artwork by designing with specific audiences in mind.
- Demonstrate skills around the flexibility and efficiency of use of digital files by adapting files for use in other software applications.
- Prove to have excellent working which includes understanding the quality of digital work, document management, file sharing & storage and academic referencing.
- Document their progression in digital drawing skills and visual communication by collating their work in a portfolio piece at the end of the semester.
Key topics that will be addressed will be the use of digital drawing tools along with presentation skills. There will also be an emphasis on professional practice and digital content adaptability.
