On completion of this module students should be able to:
• give simple descriptions of people and events (spoken production)
• ask/answer questions about familiar topics and events (spoken interaction)
• understand simple phrases and information relating to basic personal needs (listening)
• find specific predictable information in everyday material such as e-mails, letters etc. (reading)
• write about aspects of everyday life in simple linked sentences (writing)
• demonstrate awareness of aspects of Arabic culture
Students who achieve at least a B grade at the end of this module are deemed to have reached Level A1.2 of the Common European Framework
