On completion of this module students should be able to:
• give simple descriptions of people and events (spoken production)
• ask/answer questions about familiar topics and events (spoken interaction)
• understand simple phrases and information relating to basic personal needs (listening)
• find specific, predictable information in everyday material such as e-mails, letters, etc. (reading)
• write about aspects of everyday life in simple, linked sentences (writing)
• demonstrate awareness of aspects of Spanish culture
Students who achieve at least a B grade at the end of this module are deemed to have reached Level A1.2 of the Common European Framework

Having completed Spanish for General Purposes 1, or a CEFR level A1.1 or equivalent in this language.
Learning Exclusions:Students with Junior Certificate or Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) in this language are not eligible to take this module.
