The Intensive Programme (IP) is the introductory module of the NOHA Joint Master Programme in International Humanitarian Action. It will take place in a different venue each year. In 2024 it will be hosted in Bochum, Germany. The IP is held each year at the beginning of the academic semester as a way to kick off the NOHA Masters course for its incoming students. It comprises formal lectures, seminars, group discussions, presentations, case studies and evaluations. The IP brings together lecturers and researchers from the nine NOHA member universities as well as international experts, policymakers, aid managers, and other guest speakers from NGOs and IGOs. It serves as a unique forum where a diverse group of participants share different perspectives,
knowledge and experiences on current issues and efforts in the area of humanitarian action with students.
