Undergraduate Graduation Thesis/Design module is delivered by Guohui Zhu, Qingping Zhong, Zhenxian Wu (SCAU module coordinators).

Undergraduate Graduation Thesis/Design is the important component of scientific research training, after the achievement of basic theory, knowledge, and techniques of discipline.

After months of lab work or investigation on a designated subject, students are expected to submit a report of Graduation Thesis/Design.

Basically, the structure of Graduation Thesis/Design includes the following parts: Title; Abstract (in Chinese and English); Key Words; Content; Main text; Acknowledgement; References; Appendix.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to:
• Accurately master skill of literature retrieval.
• Develop ability for designing a scientific research project.
• Accurately master experimental techniques required in implementing the research project, or conduct related investigation independently.
• Develop ability for writing research report, giving presentation, and ideally, publish the research results in scientific journals.
