The purpose of this module is to support Year 2 Trainee Educational Psychologists in developing their chosen research idea into a feasible research plan. The introductory topics covered in Year 1 will be developed, with further inputs on epistemology and methodology, research ethics, advanced quantitative and qualitative methods and analysis, mixed methods, children' voice, and positionality. Students will apply the content in class through coding of transcriptions and analysis of quantitative data in SPSS.
