Learning Outcomes:
After this course, students will be able to
(1) assess critically the contribution offered by each of the differing theoretical perspectives on the subjects under consideration;
(2) evaluate the practical applications (if any) that follow from the theoretical viewpoints;
(3) identify the major research findings in each of the areas studied;
(4) begin to identify possible strategies to foster the psychological development of children and young people through the application of psychological theories and intervention strategies.
