Curricular information is subject to change.

The completion of a novel or collection of short stories forms the greater part of the MFA programme. The development and progress of the work is directed in the ancillary modules, Line Editing [CRWT40280 and CRWT40290] and the Creative Writing Workshop [CRWT40150]

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

The end result of this module is the completion of a novel or collection of short stories. Consequently, the learning outcomes are a culmination of all the skills and knowledge associated with that process. As the focus is very much on the individual student's work, the skills learned and knowledge gleaned will differ from student to student. A broad view of these outcomes can be found in the learning outcomes as presented in the ancillary modules cited above.

Indicative Module Content:

The ancillary modules of Line Editing, and Creative Writing Workshop, will address technical aspects of each project. Supervision of individual projects thereafter will address the specific demands that each project requires.
