This module looks at basic web site creation technologies, viz. HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python and SQL. The student should be able to create a full self-contained website at the end of the module

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this module students should be able to:
- Design basic websites and use most standard authoring tools.
- Understand the importance of consistency, structure and aesthetics of design; and how to achieve these.
- Use scripting technologies to perform user-input validation
- Use programming languages to connect web-facing sites to backend databases
