Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this module, students should:
1. Complete a full four-phase progressive cycle from observation to teaching demonstration.
2. Establish teaching philosophies of their own.
3. Be able to design inclusive teaching plans that assist students from different levels and background to work towards desired learning outcomes.
4. Be able to understand key concepts and theoretical framework and how this knowledge is implied in different teaching contexts.
5. Be able to critically reflect and provide feedback to observations of teaching activities conducted by others and themselves.
6. Build a clear understanding of the identity as a teacher of Chinese language and culture and understand how a teacher's knowledge influences students’ learning outcomes.
7. Build a cultural awareness and have it embedded in their knowledge base.
