This module will provide an understanding of the technologies required for the development and delivery of cell therapy-based medicines. The fundamental scientific principles underpinning cell therapy products including cell sourcing, upstream and downstream processing for stem cells and CAR-T therapies will be presented. Case studies on specific topics related to stem cell biology and clinical applications will demonstrate the application of the principles outlined.
