This module is for students who are doing an internship in an industrial setting and is an alternative to the Research Project - Taught MSc module (CHEM40880). This internship does not necessarily have a research element to it. The objective of the internship is for the student to obtain first-hand experience of working in industry and the processes and challenges that are encountered. On completion of this module students will be well-placed to compete for industrial positions following their graduation.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

Valuable experience in a relevant scientific industry and the development of key skills and knowledge that will enable a smooth transition from academia to a formal role within the industry.
