Advanced mathematics is one of the important basic theoretical courses for college students, who major in engineering. The course helps students to grasp:
(1) vector algebra and space analytic geometry;
(2) Calculus of poly-function;
(3) Basic conception ordinary of infinite series, basic theory and basic arithmetic skills, a necessary mathematical foundation to further study the successive courses and mathematical knowledge.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

The course task is teaching the basic knowledge and method involved in advanced mathematics. The objectives of the course are to train students with abstract thinking ability, logical reasoning ability, spatial imagination ability, and self-study ability as well as computing ability and the ability to analyze and solve problems.

The basic requirement is can be divided into: ' Proficiency', 'Mastery', 'Acquaintance'.
