“An image is worth a thousand words” but Adobe Photoshop can help you make up an image! Imaging is an essential tool commonly used in the Life Sciences but depending on the modalities used and the expertise of the users, as well as the image processing protocols, many issues can arise. In this module, you will be introduced to the large spectra of imaging methods from photography and photogrammetry to advanced methodologies such as Light Sheet Fluorescence Microscopy and Super Resolution. We will cover electron microscopy, X-ray, NMR , light, holographic, AFM and beyond. The lectures will be complemented by practical sessions.
