This module explores the nature of leadership in corporate organisations in a post Covid world of 2022 and beyond and the role individuals may have in creating their own leadership inside new emergent type organisations into the future.

The module reviews selected literature on leadership theories and organisational theory providing insight into the nature of leadership in action in 21st century organisations.

Students can expect to combine this theoretical foundation with an exploration of the practice of their own leadership as part of their professional development inside organisations

Learning Outcomes:

On completing the module students will be expected to :

1. Have a solid grounding in the theories of leadership in different organisational contexts .
2. Critically review these theories and their practice inside organisations.
3. Identify the factors influencing organisations systems and structures and their leadership in a post Covid world.
4. Evaluate your individual leadership role as an expression of your professional development inside organisations.
