The module will use the UN SDG's, sustainability and Design Thinking as the 3 pillars of focus.

2 assessments:
1) Team project to engage with a charity and either raise funds &/or awareness and document the project. Chairy project brief was delivered at the end of previous semester when semester teams were formed.


2) Individual project based around the UN SDG's to "Make a difference".

Using one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, make a difference.
• Make the world a better place.
• Make a positive change.
• Make someone’s life better.

Plan, execute & implement a measurable positive change.
Present your project as you see fit.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this module, students will:

- Know about the UN SGD's - what they are, why they are important.
- Know about some key aspects of sustainability and why this topic is of key focus for many people, companies and governments.
- Understand the Design Thinking framework and have completed a Design Sprint.

Having these understandings should enable students to execute projects better and incorporate these key issues into their plans and execution.
