Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this Module the student should be able to:
-Demonstrate an ability to provide leadership and give professional advice to a client throughout all stages of a project from inception to completion.
-Demonstrate a good understanding of sustainable building procurement, including standard/ non-standard forms of contracts, methods of procurement and contract administration.
-Demonstrate an ability to critically appraise contractual issues, to formulate and implement solutions (in the context of administering a contract and providing professional advice).
-Demonstrate an ability to advise and implement effective project management, including programming and cost management.
-Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of risk identification, risk management and the requirements of construction insurances.
-Demonstrate an ability to initiate and manage a good documentation and system of record keeping.
-Demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly and comprehensively.
