After completing this course students will:
1) Be able to describe the multiple factors causing wildlife decline and extinction
2) Understand how conservation organisations describe categorize the risk of population extinction
3) Comprehend the importance of population ecology and management to wildlife conservation
4) Comprehend the importance of habitat management, diversity, and connectivity to wildlife conservation
5) Understand the multiple steps involved in any wildlife reintroduction program
6) Be aware of how local human populations can be positively or negatively affected by wildlife conservation
