The objective of this module is to assist students in developing non-technical skills required to be successful in a professional environment. It aims to provide students with a foundation toolset for lifelong personal and professional development.

About this Module

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this module, students should:
1. Understand different personality types (including an awareness of their own) and how they can impact on decision making and team dynamics.
2. Understand the importance of Personal Brand and understand how it impacts others.
3. Understand the importance of professional ethics in the workplace.
4. Understand how to communicate information/arguments with clarity and influence a target audience.
5. Have improved their ability to build and deliver effective presentations.
6. Understand group dynamics and the skills required to motivate and lead small groups and teams.
7. Understand structured problem solving through the use of established frameworks and tools.

Indicative Module Content:
