By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
• Plan and deliver lectures confidently and articulately, adapting the content and language to meet the needs of the audience.
• Structure lectures effectively, ensuring a logical flow of information and engaging the listeners throughout the session.
• Handle follow-up questions fluently and spontaneously, demonstrating the ability to respond to different types of inquiries.
• Use appropriate visual aids and presentation techniques to enhance the delivery of lectures.
• Reflect on individual language and skills development, identifying areas for improvement, and identify research-informed solutions to targeted areas of difficulty.
Linguistic analysis of academic lectures; structuring a talk; adapting lecture content and language to the needs of the audience; interacting with the audience and addressing questions, etc.
