On completion of this module, students should have:
1) a knowledge of key sites, related to the Holocaust and its commemoration, in Berlin;
2) an understanding of Jewish life in Berlin before, during, and after the Holocaust;
3) an understanding of how the Holocaust has shaped the geography of memory in Berlin.
The study trip to Berlin will include visits to key sites, such as the Holocaust Memorial, the Jewish Museum, the Wannsee Villa, and the former Gestapo headquarters. The list of sites will depend on access at the time of the visit.
