The MSc in Management Consultancy is designed to give students a 360º understanding of and preparation for a career in the global consulting industry.  Students will learn how the industry operates, its dominant players, key success factors and the management issues that drive it, how and when to use different consulting tools and methodologies, how to write a consulting proposal and other key skills needed to be a successful management consultant.

This Master's programme is delivered at our dedicated Graduate Business School campus, UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, located in Blackrock, 4km from the main UCD Belfield Campus.

About This Course

Incoming Stage 1 undergraduates can usually select an Elective in the Spring Trimester. Most continuing undergraduate students can select up to two Elective modules (10 Credits) per stage. There is also the possibility to take up to 10 extra Elective credits.

The key targets of this part-time/full-time format course are graduates in business or economics keen to pursue a career in the highly competitive and increasingly global management consulting industry.



Entry Requirements:



Suitable for students with an undergraduate degree from any discipline, however, business subjects and/or related work experience are favourable.



Or



A primary degree with a minimum of three years’ relevant work experience.
